For all of those who care, or want to know... Spencer, my baby boy, is doing amazing. I can't thank fate, my vet, the gods what ever... enough. He went from the edge of death to looking better than he has in the past year. If makes me see now that this was not a sudden onset of sickness, but a growing long term problem that we could not see. But, as you can see in this picture, he is looking wonderful! His weight it back up, his fur is shinning and his eyes are bright and loving as they have ever been. His blood counts dealing with his liver are back to normal after four months of in and out of the vet... Again, it blows my mind. There were many nights I cried myself to sleep this summer, thinking 'tomorrow is his last day'. But he pulled through!
You sent me the link to him and my mouth absolutely dropped! He is such a beautiful boy and as a fellow Iggy owner (well...past for me anyhow ) i can truely say that he is such a lovely creature. He looks a little more petite than my beefy iggy, and his nose from this angle looks adorable, kinda different than other's i've seen. I didn't really know his story or what happened to him before, but if there is anything i can do at any time for you or your stunning boy let me know and i will help as fast as i can; whether you need blood for him, my dog'll donate, or even if the extreme hits and he needs a healthy liver and there's the possibility of a liver transplant! I know this sounds gushy and maybe even strange...but we sighthound lovers tend to be that way sometimes, dont we?
that really makes my day. You rock! it is great to find more with the same passion for the sighthounds, and basically all animals that I have! Do you have an e-mail address or an sn for AIM that I can talk to you on? I'd love to keep in contact!

I am looking to buy a male dumbo rat, if you breed or know someone who does, note me!
My e-mail address is Blueflyer18@yahoo.com. I'd love to hear from you and e-mail back and forth. I dont have AIM or messenger because i do alot of work on my computer and my technical computer guy told me to steer clear of them, but i do have Yahoo Messenger still on here from my younger sister!
Your Spencer reminds me so much of my Bella. (fellow Irish blue! xD) it's awesome. I miss her so much when I'm at college and can't come home to my happy little jumpy girl D: sigh. I'm glad that he's better now, though. it must have been horrific to be so worried about him
